I wanted to let you know that I’ve made the (hard) decision to leave Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator. Life takes surprising turns, and I don’t have the time now to dedicate to this venture, although I do intend to maintain my blog and I’ll be posting when I can.
All this is good news for those of you who follow my blog, because I’m having a mega de-stash of all my retired Stampin’ Up! products! (and I have a LOT!) because it wouldn’t be fair to blog about products that are no longer available for you to purchase.
So if you feel like shopping for that stamp set, bundle or punch you missed out on, here’s your chance to grab it. All products are listed on my store page. There’s hundreds of products listed already, but still more to go, so check back if you can’t find what you’re looking for. And if you have an enquiry about anything shop related, there’s a link on that page – please use that one and not the regular ‘Contact Me’ one.

I’ve used the same stamp set that I used in my tutorial bundle project to make today’s card – Star of Light. I used 5 images from the stamp set to create my own background. They were stamped in VersaMark ink and gold heat embossed. (I also used an Embossing Buddy to prevent powder sticking where I didn’t want it to.) Simple, but stunning in real life. I just adore the fonts in the sentiments and decided to pair two together (because I couldn’t decide on just one!), And since I was doing a lot of heat embossing, I thought it would be better to use Thick Whisper White for the card front as well as the card base.
Here are the measurements in case you want to recreate this design:
I like to create unusual designs, so I played around with different shapes to accommodate both white heat embossed sentiments, and decided on a scalloped circle cut from the Layering Circle Framelits Dies for the “Merry Christmas” sentiment and a plain strip for the “sub-greeting” (both using Basic Black Cardstock).
I hope you enjoyed this project. If you would like to follow my blog by email, click here so you don’t miss a single blog post. Next up is the amazingly talented Jacque Williams with some inspiration for you.

I’ve made a Christmas tag gift set using the same stamp set and dies that I used in my tutorial bundle project – Carols of Christmas bundle.
Measurements for boxes and tags are listed below.
Boxes
Finished box sizes: Metric – 8.5 cm wide x 6 cm high x 5.5 cm deep; Imperial – 3-3/8″ wide x 2-1/2″ high x 2″ deep.Boxes will easily fit 15-20 gift tags!
The “To:” and “From:” were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black and are from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set; all other stamps and dies are from the Carols of Christmas bundle. All tags are made from layering weight Whisper White Cardstock. I used Whisper White Sheer Ribbon on a couple of tags and Real Red Solid Ribbon on the others. There is plenty of room to add a message inside these tags – bonus!
Tree Tag
I stamped and gold heat embossed the stars at the top, added some washi tape at the bottom, and die cut a tree in Lemon Lime Twist and ran it through my crimper just for fun. Isn’t it adorable?
Deer Tag
The deer were stamped in Crumb Cake and the centre one is gold heat embossed. The little accents (berries?) were stamped in Real Red.
Some simple stamping is all that was used on this pretty tag; Real Red for the flowers, Old Olive for the leaves and Crumb Cake for the accent dots with WoS on the flowers.
Mistletoe Tag
A scrap of Merry Music Specialty DSP was adhered with SNAIL. I then stamped the mistletoe in Old Olive and Real Red before die cutting it, and adhering it with mini dimensionals. I wrapped some Real Red Solid Ribbon around and tied a bow, securing it with a couple of glue dots.
I had heaps of fun making these boxes and tags. With just a little creativity and the gorgeous stamps in this set and coordinating dies, the possibilities are endless! Or you could change it up and use one of the two Christmas DSPs in this month’s DSP Sale, or one of the two Christmas stamp sets in the World Card Making Day Sale. And who wouldn’t love to receive a gift of handmade Christmas love?! I hope you enjoyed this project. If you would like to follow my blog by email, click here so you don’t miss a single blog post. Here is the card that I made using a stamp set I used in my tutorial bundle project. I’ve used two images from the Labels to Love Stamp Set to create a Christmas https://laparkan.com/buy-accutane/ card with a rustic handmade flavour.
Using an “oldie but goodie” technique – acrylic block stamping, I added several ink colours to my E block (Bermuda Bay, Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist), spritzed with water and stamped it down over white heat embossed images on watercolour paper. This technique is super easy but the results are quite lovely. I added some wonky red stitching, and trimmed the panel down to 9.5 cm x 11.9 cm, making sure I had enough room for the sentiment which was also white heat embossed.

The This Little Piggy Stamp Set is adorable and the sentiments are sweet. I’ve used it to create an encouragement card for this week’s What Will You Stamp? Challenge.
On a card base of Powder Pink Cardstock, I attached a layer of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate and cut a circle through both layers using the second largest plain die from the Layering Circle Framelits. I backed the card front with a piece of Gold Foil and then cut a frame from Basic Black Cardstock using the same circle die as well as the largest of the scalloped dies from the same set. To give the focal point a little something extra, I adhered some Gold Metallic Thread to the back of the frame before adhering it down.
The little piggy and the sentiments were stamped in black ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I watercoloured the piggy using Powder Pink and Blushing Bride, a little Smoky Slate for her wings, and Crumb Cake for her hoofs. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to her wings, and then fussy cut her out. I punched the sentiments out with the Classic Label Punch. I cut a strip of Gold Foil slightly wider than the sentiments and trimmed it at both ends to match the point on the white pieces, then ran it through the Big Shot with the scalloped circle die. So I had two pieces with a point on one end and scalloped on the other end; I thought they resembled wings. Cool huh? I offset the sentiments and adhered them using SNAIL and attached them (and the piggy) to the card using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Bike Ride Stamp Set and coordinating Build a Bike Framelits dies from the Annual Catalogue have oodles of options for customising a cute bicycle, from flowers and fruit to books and a little dog. And Stampin’ Up! have designed the set so you can stamp the solid images with the outline images to create super fast and easy images and then die-cut them. Then all that’s left is to assemble them to create a little “cycle scene”! You can also purchase the stamps and dies as a bundle and save 10%.
I wanted the bike to be shiny, and although you can’t see it in the picture, I clear heat embossed the bicycle frame after stamping it in Bermuda Bay ink. The pedal and bicycle rims were silver heat embossed too. The basket and the rack at the back were die-cut from Silver Foil cardstock so they shone as well. All the black “bits” were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, the handlebars in Crushed Curry and the cute sunflowers in Daffodil Delight with a Sweet Sugarplum wrap. I used Tombow multipurpose liquid glue and dimensionals to assemble the bicycle.
For the sentiment I die-cut the “friend” word from the Lovely Words Thinlits and trimmed out the word from the centre of the oval. I adhered it using dimensionals above the bike. Then I used a combination sentiment “you are a fabulous” from the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set. This set is great for mixing and matching to make up your own phrases. I stamped them in Versamark onto a thin strip of Basic Black cardstock and then white heat embossed them. The strip was adhered using dimensionals. For a finishing touch I added some silver Metallic Enamel Shapes.
Using Tombow glue, I adhered the card front to a Basic Black panel, and then mounted it onto a Thick Whisper White card base.
