I didn’t think I was going to make the deadline for this week’s Global Design Project challenge. Phew! This week is CASE the designer week – with a twist. As you know, CASE means copy and share everything, but this week’s challenge is a little different. Kylie has challenged us to Copy And Selectively Edit. The two elements that I chose to “selectively edit” are the colours and the floral focal image.
Here is Kylie’s card:
And here’s my interpretation:
I stamped the beautiful flower from the Remarkable You stamp set in Versamark ink, embossed it with Cherry Cobbler and then finished with some naive watercolouring in Cherry Cobbler. I masked the flower and then stamped the background cross-hatch image from the You’ve Got This stamp set in Crushed Curry (stamped off).
The sentiment, stamped in Tip Top Taupe ink also comes from the Remarkable You stamp set. I finished the card off with a Very Vanilla banner layered with Cherry Cobbler cardstock which was then lifted up with dimensionals. The panel was layered onto Tip Top Taupe, and then onto a Very Vanilla card base.
The inside was finished with a simple, stamped off flower. Do you like it? Leave me a comment and let me know. I’d love to hear what you think.

Thanks again to the GDP for hosting the challenge and to you for stopping by.
