Floral Affection Card

Hi and welcome!  I’m taking part in a blog hop with special guest Dawn Olchefske. We get to CASE (copy and selectively edit) one of Dawn’s projects. Here’s my project:

Floral Affection Card-1

We’re thrilled that Dawn is our guest for this hop.  Thank you Dawn!

Today’s hop is a Crazy Crafters team effort. They’re a crazy talented bunch too, so make sure you visit them all!

Here’s the card that inspired me.

I was inspired by the unusual curved panel Dawn used on her card. I changed the shape and made it my focal image panel.  It was dry embossed first using one of the Floral Affection folders.  Also from the suite is the Affectionately Yours DSP.  I heat embossed the floral spray in copper before adding a touch of watercolouring.  The sentiment is from the Suite Sayings stamp set.

To continue on the hop and see all the fabulous projects from Dawn and the rest of the Crazy Crafters team, click on the person after me – Gail Davidson – in the list below.

If you like this colour combination, please feel free to save and share it.  You can find more inspiration on my Pinterest Colour Inspiration Board.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I’d love it if you’d pin my card and leave a comment.

Falling Flowers Card

Our challenge stamp set this week over at WWYS is Falling Flowers. Love, love, love this stamp set!

#71 Falling Flowers

And here’s what I created:

Falling Flowers Card-1

This was the first time I played with this set and I just adore it.  I also love to use black and white.  The look you get is classic and clean.  The sentiment is from the Suite Sayings Stamp Set – such a versatile set for many occasions and I love this particular sentiment.

Head on over to the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog for lots of inspiration using this stamp set.

If you live in Australia and you are looking for a demonstrator to purchase from or join up with I would love to look after you.
